A Journey Through Industries
As a young man who has recently graduated into the worst job market in probably the last 100 years of the the United States, I just so happened to fall for the very 2020-2022 trap of majoring in Computer Science and its delegations, while I didn't exactly major in Computer Science ( I did the easier version which was Information Technology), I am very quickly learning that the 150k job offer guaranteed is not coming, and that I must find my own path.
Truthfully that is no problem, who doesn't love a good adventure through life and their early career? I feel like Odysseus, embarking on his voyage (of course in reality Odysseus did just want to go back home and not adventure for half his life but nonetheless I digress). So my dear reader this is going to be proof of concept and proof of understanding through Government Regulatory Compliance and the field of Risk. In my short time as an assistant underwriter, I have come to learn that everything in life is risk, and that truly we can't quantify everything. However we can set up frameworks, and these frameworks ensure that we know what to do in case of errors, attacks and incidents which happen more often than companies would like to admit. So welcome and I hope you enjoy the show and perhaps this page can be useful for you to learn the industry or perhaps you will enjoy watching me attempt to decode this career like a Grandmaster attempting to play 45 competitors at once, either way we will try for what is the point of life but to try anyway?
